Accused on Daughter-In-Law’s Murder, Arrested
Police have arrested 46 years mother in law Jalki Kami of Lali VDC-2 and her 18 years old Gedi Sarki on December 31 on charge of murdering her 33 years old daughter-in-law Siddha Sarki.
The dead body of the victim was recovered in the morning of December 29. Prior to her death she was sleeping alone in the house after having dinner. The victim’s brother Rupdan Sarki had lodged a complaint at District Police Office on December 30 demanding the action against the accused.
She might have murdered while she was alone in the house according to DSP Kamal Prasad Nepal of District Police Office of Humla.
The accused have been arrested by the police for the further investigation.
The postmortem of the body was sent to the District hospital and the reason behind the death is not known yet according to the police. Dr Smriti Mahat of District Public Health office said that the reason behind the death will be revealed only after the postmortem report.
