Accused of Human Trafficking Arrested
Police have arrested Rahul Parki, 20, of KI Singh Rural Municipality-3 from Attariya on February 23 on charges of trying to traffick a 20-year-old girl.
The victim’s family had lodged a complaint at the District Police Office, Kailali on February 23 alleging that the accused was about to take the girl to Hyderabad, India.
Inspector Hikmat Thapa of the District Police Office, Kailali said that the accused was arrested from the New Khaptad Hotel in Attariya, Godavari Municipality-2 on the basis of a complaint lodged by the victim.
The victim was examined at Seti Provincial Hospital, Dhangadhi on February 23.
