54 polling stations of Salyan tagged as very sensitive
The District election office of Salyan has said that 54 polling stations of the district are listed as too sensitive in security point of view. Chief of the District election office, Mahesh Sharma said that 54 polling stations are categorized as too sensitive based on their geographical proximity and security condition.
Similarly, 37 polling stations are categorized as sensitive and other 20 as tagged as normal. In this district there are 111 polling stations. In local level election, there were 175 polling centers which is increased by 5 in this election.
The acting chief district officer Shredhar Tandon said that the special security strategy has been adopted for the HoR and state assembly election on November 26 according to district security committee.
