A total of 3389 incidents related to voilence and 3846 casualities were recorded in INSEC Surveillence system of which, 1913 were killed, 1187 were moderately injured and 586 were injured while extent of injuries of 160 could not be distinguised. A total of january to December 2013, INSEC’s Surveillance System identified 14 new casualities from total of 7 incidents caused by IEDs.
From Jan 1 – July 19, 2012, 12 incidents resulting 21 casualties have been reported.
In the first half of 2012, INSEC Surveillance System identified 20 new casualties from a total of 11 incidents. All the incidents were caused by improvised explosive devices (IED) In these 11 incidents, 16 people were injured and 4 were killed.
